The show was entertaining overall. I especially liked how Tosh did away with an opening act and instead showcased his Tosh.0 writers and friends for which he introduced periodically throughout his act. At times it almost seemed like Tosh was just the MC for the evening, allowing many of his guests to upstage him. Luckily all of his guests were funny and very entertaining. Especially Eddie Gossling, Todd Glass and Greg Hahn.
Daniel Tosh was very funny as well, but he seemed to be holding back from his typical no holds barred, saying it like it is, sharp and cutting humor. He brought up the controversial election of 2016 multiple times, but was reluctant to carry it to the end zone.
Tosh did address the fact that so many people wonder about his sexual preference and how this all came about. He also brought his 2 dogs with him on stage for a segment and couldn't resist to indulge his peculiar affinity for being an exhibitionist, stripping down to an OSU Speedo bathing suit. I believe that he simply enjoys the discomfort that this brings to some or perhaps many.
Anyone that considers themselves a fan of either Daniel Tosh or Tosh.0, myself included, enjoyed this memorable evening, even if Daniel did not bring the shock and aw.
